Back in Indiana
After a long 13 days, we are back where we belong. Mail hold was delivered a day too early instead of being held for pick up as requested. Return flight from Seattle to DFW was great. Connecting flight to Kansas City was missing. No aircraft was available. Had to wait 3 hours for a flight to come in. Looked like we were arrive in KC about 1:30 AM, long after the motel shuttle stopped running. Grandchildren provided the solution. Being eager to reunite with mom, she said she'd pick them up at the motel. I asked her to pick us up at the airport and drive us to the motel to get their pre-cruise dirty clothes from our car. Worked great. A gate agent in Seattle chose to order a wheel chair for DH because he was limping with a cane. What a relief to know we'd have it. However, at DFW, it was at the end of the ramp, without an aid, instead of at the beginning. There was no agent to tell us where to connect with our next flight.
